About Sable Ridge

One team that plans, builds and sells every home we put our name on.

Sable Ridge began as a three-person framing crew in Dripping Springs. Today we design, build and sell homes across the Austin area, and we still run every job with our own construction leads rather than handing houses off to whoever bids lowest. Keeping the brokerage in the same building means the people selling a plan know exactly how it is built.

We build around sixty homes a year across two communities and on private lots, and our licensed advisors help buyers with resale homes too.

How we work, from lot to keys

Every home starts with a lot review and ends with a written punch list. In between, a single construction lead runs the schedule, meets you at the pre-drywall walk and sends photo updates every two weeks. Our design studio keeps finish selections in one afternoon, with allowances spelled out in writing so there are no surprises at closing.

What we build

  • Single-story and two-story homes from 1,850 to 4,800 sq ft
  • Townhomes near downtown with rooftop terraces
  • Hill Country homes on view lots
  • Lakefront homes with private docks
  • Custom-level builds on lots you own
  • Model homes open daily in two communities

What every buyer gets

  • A written schedule with milestones
  • A dedicated construction lead
  • A third-party energy rating
  • Photo updates every two weeks
  • A ten-year structural warranty
  • Help selling your current home

We would rather build sixty homes a year we are proud of than two hundred we have to explain.

Graham Whitlock, Managing Broker

Our crews include carpenters who have framed with us for more than a decade, and our cabinet shop builds the kitchens and built-ins for most of our homes. That continuity shows up in the small things: straight trim lines, quiet doors and drawers that close the same way in year ten as on day one.

If you are thinking about buying, building or selling, visit the design studio in Westlake or either of our model homes. An advisor will walk you through plans, lots and timelines with no pressure to decide that day.
